Normal pov

Day 2

 

Daylight bothers Sonic from his 4 hours of sleep.  He tried to ignore the light but it shined fiercely in his face. Reluctantly he got up from his bed and stretched him out. It was a new day searching where the servants of Gaia would strike next. He got out his room and on the way toward the kitchen Tails got out his door. Sonic went over to him.

 

‘Morning Tails.’ Sonic said with a bit of sleepiness in his voice.

‘Morning Sonic, night turned over too fast.’ Tails complained a bit. Tails looked also as he didn’t had much sleep last night.

‘I agree with ya little buddy. For once it should have gone slower if you ask me.’ Sonic replied to his best buddy.

‘Thuh coming from you, that’s new.’ Tails grinned at Sonic. Sonic that say’s that something should go slow is very rare.

‘Let’s get some breakfeast before looking out for those purple slimes.’ Sonic said. Tails nodded and together they went toward the kitchen of Pickles where his table is already been filled with breakfast.

 

On the table lies a letter from Pickles to them. It said that he was gone to the library to get investigate on something. Sonic and Tails took a seat and they started their breakfast.

 

 

Amy woke up in her bed rested out. Only with her the weather wasn’t as sunny as with Sonic and Tails. No, it was raining with her. The raindrops crackled on her roof. She looked outside and even though she wasn’t in the best mood, she smiled. She wished Sonic was her with her, holding her, whisper words of love. This day would be so much better than. 5 minutes later she steps away from her window and went downstairs toward her kitchen to eat something. She got out some cereals and milk. After having a quick breakfast she went looking in her house if everything was ready for the party.

 

 

While Amy checked her house in Spagonia Sonic and Tails finished their breakfast and started to make up plans where they would check out.

 

‘I go keep a check around the river.’ Tails speaks to Sonic.

‘Sure, I’ll go watch around the church.’ Sonic replied

‘Would you mind bringing me to the river?’ Tails asked his best friend. The reason why Tails asked is because he wants to be there as soon as possible.

‘No problem bro, just hold on tight then.’ Sonic grinned.

 

Sonic and Tails got back to their chamber and got themselves dressed for their quest. Once done dressing up Sonic held Tails hand and blasted out the college. It took Sonic 30 seconds before he could already drop off Tails at his destination, Sonic waved the two tailed fox while he ran towards his own.

3 hours at the church, nothing really interesting was happening at the it except from some people that go in and out but they didn’t showed any signs of being affected with Gaia’s servants. With Tails however it’s a total different story. Some are happy while others sad for no real reason, but then again that wasn’t needed because Tails got the hint. Tails used his two tails to replicate a helicopter and flies toward Sonic that’s been bored to death watching and waiting. When he sees Tails coming in he already knew it.

 

‘Sonic, they’re going to be by the river.’ Tails speaks while landing next to him.

‘I thought so, why would you be here otherwise?’ Sonic said cocky. ‘So we just need to wait at night eh.’

‘Yep, so what shall we do now?’ Tails questioned.

‘Well, just waiting till night I guess. I’ll go on some training. Trying to new moves that could be useful when I’m a werehog.’ Sonic stated.

‘I can help you with that.’ Tails replied.

‘Okay, let’s go then.’ Sonic finished and the two left the city toward a forest, it’s there where Sonic kicked some trees while Tails gives him some advice to change some technics.

 

The whole day Amy hasn’t done much expect finishing the last decorations of her house for her birthday party. Outside the night was taken over and because she doesn’t has anything much to do she just went straight to bed holding her Sonic plushy close to her and giving it a kiss.

With Sonic the night has taken over as well and he turned into his werehog form and went toward the river with Tails who held the camera. When they arrived Tails flashed with his camera and the purple creatures showed themselves. The werehog ran straight toward them punched and kicked them hard. Of course Sonic being alone against at least 15 of Dark Gaia’s servants he took some damage to himself.

After the battle that took some effort of the werehog was done. Sonic and Tails went back to the college of the professor and went toward bed.

 

 

Day 3

Amy walks around thinking again about Sonic. While walking around the park she notices an orange tiger and a white tigress hugging each other. The way they looked in each other eyes proved they’re in love with each other, smiling and giving a small kiss confirmed it even more. Amy smiled as she looked away toward the floor imaging that Sonic would do that to her. Oh she wanted this so bad of him. Him giving his love to her is all she wants. She know she’s close into getting into his heart but still it isn’t enough. But she keeps up hope that he might be hers one day.

 

Sonic and Tails have been informed by the professor himself that next attack will be at the temple just outside Spagonia. They spent the day training for the next battle.

When night arrived again Amy got soon to bed as for Sonic and Tails they went over to the temple to fight against dark Gaia’s servants. Once done with the fight they got back to the college.

 

 

Day 4

Another day waking up at Spagonia Sonic and Tails did their routines: eating breakfast and searching for the next attack.

With Amy she wakes up as well while her thoughts where with Sonic while looking at the picture from ‘Hero’s afternoon’. She smiled at it since it’s the only one where Sonic stood with her willingly. She can’t believe it’s already been a while since she was there with him. However the side effect from thinking about that day lead into her missing him a lot. She wants to be with him again, doing something (no, not adult stuff) as hanging out with him wherever he wants to go. Seeing the world through his eyes. Maybe it will come or maybe not. She stood up from her bed and slowly made her way downstairs when her phone was ringing. She went over to the horn and picked it up.

 

‘Hello Amy Rose speaking.’ She greeted the one on the phone

‘Amy, hey it’s Cream. How are you?’ Cream questions her

‘Ah lonely. I miss Sonic.’ Amy answered a bit sad

‘Aaauuuw that’s sad. Hey if you want you can come play here with my mother and I.’ she replied at Amy

‘What do you want to play?’ Amy asked

‘Oh we wanted to play a board game, you know.’ Cream said

‘Okay, it will take my mind away as well from Sonic.’ Amy said

‘Great, see you soon!’ Cream cheered.

‘Bye Cream.’ Amy finished and let down the horn, the eat a quick breakfast and after that cleaned her table and got dressed. Then she’d went out her house and locked it down. Once done she made her way to Cream.

Back at Spagonia Sonic and Tails where arguing about something.

 

‘Why don’t we play tag? Common it shall be fun.’ Sonic said with a grin.

‘Do you really want to play a kids game?’ Tails asked as if he is out of his mind.

‘Why not?’ Sonic questioned. To him it would be a great exercise to run around while it’s still day. He’s maybe 21 years old, but he still likes to be a child at times.

‘Sonic that’s childish, you’re 21 and I’m 17. Common think of it.’ Tails said ticking on his head with his forefinger.

‘So what? Just because I’m 21 doesn’t mean I can be a child sometimes. Life is boring if everybody wants to act all ‘mature’. Come on, just a few games, it shall be fun’ Sonic said enthusiastic.

‘You really aren’t going to give up aren’t ya?’ Tails replied as he feels that he doesn’t has a choice other than playing a kids game with him.

‘Never have, never will.’ Sonic gave a wink to him. ‘Common let’s do this.’

‘Eugh okay I guess’ Tails gives in reluctantly. ‘We’re going to make us so ridiculous with this.’ Tails thought to himself.

‘Can somebody help me please!?’ A person yelled around.

Sonic speeds toward this person. ‘What’s wrong?’ Sonic asks with concern.

‘Sire what’s wrong?’ Sonic asked.

‘My son is missing! My wife is going out with her friends and I had to keep watch to our little boy. I was busy working on a document on my computer when I wanted to take a break. Normally he’s just playing in the living room but I when I checked he was gone! I searched my house until I noticed my front door was open! And now he’s gone! I’m so worried! Please help me find him, I beg you.’ the man explained while literally begging Sonic to help him.

‘Don’t worry sire, we’ll find him.’ Sonic reassured him.

‘I’ll look around from the sky, that way we’ll notice him sooner maybe. Do you’ve got a photo of him?’ Tails questioned the person.

‘Yes, I’ll show you’ he replied with a shaking voice probably fearing the worst. He took out his wallet and got out a photo of his family with his wife and him standing next to each other while their son sat in front of them.

‘It’s him.’ The man said pointing to his son on the photo.

‘Okay thanks that will help us a lot. We’ll start looking round.’ Sonic finished and wanted to blast off. Only Tails prevented him from doing so.

‘Sonic wait. Here put this in your ear.’ Tails spoke giving Sonic a small ear set. ‘This way we can communicate with each other.’

‘Oh yeah thank buddy.’ Sonic put his ear set into his right ear.

‘Here’s one for you too sire.’ Tails said giving the man an ear set too.

‘Thank you, please hurry I’ll go look around the market.’ The man said running away to the market place.

‘I’ll go search around the park.’ Sonic stated and blasted off.

 

Tails used his tails to make a propeller and giant altitude hovering over the city. So far all they could do was looking for that kid.

 

Amy has arrived with Cream and was currently playing monopoly with Cream. It seemed Cream was winning but Amy wasn’t even trying because her mind didn’t got away from Sonic.

 

‘Amy it’s your turn.’ Cream said giving her the dices.

‘huh? Oh yeah sorry.’ Amy replied taking the dices and threw them. The dices gave her the number 6 and 3, combined 9 placed forward.

‘You’re still thinking of him aren’t you?’ Cream wondered.

‘Yes I am. I know it’s just been a few days since he’s gone to Spagonia but still it feels much longer. I feel so empty.’ Amy responded.

‘Don’t worry, he’ll come back. Just have a little patience.’ Cream tried to cheer her up a bit.

‘I guess so. it’s the only thing I can do, waiting.’ Amy said a bit frustrated. ‘My birthday is within 2 days and with how it looks now, he’s not going to show up.’

‘Didn’t he promised it to you?’ Cream asked. Cream was sure she has said that once.

‘Yes, but I’m not sure if he’s going to keep it.’ Amy replied looking away from her.

‘Have faith, I’m sure he will.’ Cream responded  with a smile.

‘I hope so.’ Amy said

‘Well let’s just try to keep focus on the game now okay?’ Cream said while throwing the dices.

‘Sure, I’ll try too.’ Amy finished.

 

Amy and Cream played monopoly for 1 hour when they stopped it because Cream has won the game. After that they went to Cream’s chamber to do some further girlish stuff.

We go back to Spagonia where Tails has noticed the kid they were looking for in the park close to the river. If he wasn’t careful he would fall into it. Tails flies as fast as he could toward the kid but was too late. The kid fell into the river and started to crawl to keep his head above the water.

 

‘Ah S***! The kid felt into the water!.’ Tails stated to himself. Quickly he got over toward the kid and stuck out his hand.

‘Quick grab my hand! I’ll get you out!’ Tails said. The kid reached out his hand and Tails held it tight. He got the kid out of the water and pulled him at the side of the river.

‘Hey, you okay?’ Tails questioned the kid that was in shock.

‘I …… I…. I think so……….. I’ the kid tried to speak.

‘What did you do out here alone?’ Tails asked him.

‘I …..just wanted….. to play’ he replied with a shaking voice.

‘Couldn’t you play at your parents’ house?’ Tails questioned him.

‘My mom is … away, and my dad …was busy. I thought …. maybe someone else wanted ….. to play with me.’ he replied to Tails.

‘Your dad is worried sick about you, you know.’

 

‘Tails to Sonic and you sire. I found him, save and sound. He’s in the park.’

‘Oh thank heavens! Please stay where you are, I’ll be over there soon.’ The person replied relieved at the ear set knowing that his son is alive.

‘Great work buddy, you’ve found him faster than me this time. See you there little bro.’ Sonic said to him.

 

Sonic soon got over at Tails and the kid. For the first time in a while Tails was faster than him. He didn’t admitted it but it stings him knowing that he wasn’t the hero this time. But he’ll let Tails have some glory as well. There would be more opportunities for him to shine, even though he doesn’t wants to be in the spotlight constantly. When the farther arrived he hugged his son tightly but not as Amy would hug Sonic.

 

‘Oh Matt I was so worried!’ His farther said relieved having his son back in his arms.

‘I’m sorry dad. I wanted to play with you, but you were so busy’ Matt replied at his dad.

‘I know, I’m glad to have you back. I’ll play with you, honost.’ His dad said

‘Really!?’ Matt asked cheerfully

‘Really.’ Matt’s farther answered. ‘But first thing first: why are you so wet?’

‘He fell into the river. I saved him.’ Tails said to his farther.

‘Oh thank you so much mister fox. Matt can’t swim, we have to teach him someday.’ The farther replied thanking Tails for his heroic deed.

‘You’re welcome sire, glad I could be of help.’ Tails responds friendly

‘You sure did, now if you excuse me I’m going home with Matt. Oh and take this please. It’s for your trouble.’ The farther said and gave Tails 100 rings.

‘Thank you sire, they really aren’t necessary.’ Tails spoke as he wants to give back the rings he just earned.

‘Please keep them. It’s a token of my appreciation that you saved my son.’ The farther replied refusing to take his rings back.

‘Thank you very much.’ Tail said smiling at him.

‘You’re welcome. Now if you excuse me I’m going home with Matt. Bye heroes.’ The farther finished waving at them and walking away to his home again.

 

‘Well done buddy. If it wasn’t for you the kid could have drowned.’ Sonic spoke with a smile even though he felt a bit jealous he wasn’t the one that saved the kid. But Tails earned the credit for his deed because he would be too late and then the worst could be a possibility.

‘Ah you would  have done the same, I’m just lucky Matt was in the area I searched.’ Tails replied back.

‘Still you saved him. You’re the hero.’ Sonic said giving his thumb up.

‘thiheheheh, I really don’t know what to say on that.’ Tails rubbed the back of his head with his right hand because he wasn’t used to this. Normally he’s just the sidekick and not the one in the spotlight but for once he is.

 

 

 

Amy has spent the rest of the day with Cream making each other up and doing such stuff. When the sun started to set Amy said goodbye to Vanilla and Cream and went home. She didn’t needed to eat because Vanilla made pancakes for them, so she wasn’t hungry. When she got home she watched some TV and a while later she got bored and went to bed. When she arrived in her bedroom she changed and got under her sheets. She laid her head on her pillow and before closing her eyes she’d looked at the picture from Heroes afternoon. She smiled at it and then closed her eyes.

 

 

It’s was time for Sonic and Tails to get into action because night has taken over again. They headed toward the gate toward the courtyard of Spagonia. Sonic gave his gloves to Tails and changed into his werehog form. He was ready for this. Just beating up more slimes, no big deal. When Tails and Sonic arrived at the gate a strange blue seal was in front of them.

 

‘Hey what’s that?’ Tails pointed to the blue seal.

‘I don’t know, but we’ll find out soon.’ Sonic replied at him.

‘I’ll go first.’ Tails said as he went to the seal. But something was wrong because when Tails wanted to step into the seal it felt as he was running into a wall. ‘Aaauuuw, what the hell is this? I can’t enter!’ Tails stated

‘Grrr I think only those with the power of Dark Gaia can enter it.’ Sonic said.

‘Oh man, that means you’re on your own.’ Tails spoke saddened knowing he can’t do anything to help Sonic.

‘I guess so.’ Sonic states walking toward the seal.

‘Well good luck Sonic. I know you’ll win. You can do it.’ Tails cheered at him.

‘Thank you buddy. I’ll be back soon.’ He finished walking into the seal that transported him to an empty courtyard. Sonic looked around where they could be. Man the place was so empty he thought the place is dead. Suddenly he heard something coming down his way. Quickly he jumped in frond before he heard a huge bang on the ground. When he looked back he saw it was the Dark Guardian!

 

 

‘Finally got you now werehog!’  the purple creature with his hammer said in a dark voice.

‘You! Are you the one behind all of this?!’ Sonic questioned at the hammer purple servant

‘Isn’t it obvious? Last time I was humiliated with you! You didn’t fought me fairly! You used some cheating I don’t know magic to defeat me. But this time there is nothing that will help you. It just you and me.’ he said

‘So you let those others control everybody just you could have a rematch with me?’ Sonic questioned.

‘I don’t care what happens with humans, but yeah it was the best way to get your attention.’ It said to Sonic. If Sonic had knew this sooner he would have already fought with him.

‘Well than I guess we’ll stop the chit chat and get to the point where I slash your butt again.’ Sonic treatment him. Oh yeah if he wants to fight, he’ll get a fight.

‘I’m going to hammer those words back in your mouth when I’m done with you.’ the hammer purple servant of Gaia said.

 

Sonic took the first step and charged at him on all four of his legs. He stretched his fist toward the purple creature but it replied with hitting Sonic’s fist with his hammer. A pain entered on Sonic’s pawn that made him shake his fist. Sonic didn’t think he would actually counter his attack so maybe he underestimated him a bit. The creature didn’t cared because it replied with charging at Sonic jumping in the air and going down toward Sonic as an eagle that would hit it’s pray. Sonic used his shield ability to block some of its attack but not didn’t prevented to deal no damage to him. This gave Sonic the opportunity to strike back with an uppercut to fist that made him fly onto a roof. It got up and ran again toward Sonic, when he was close he spin around as a tornado that continually attacked. Sonic quickly got out of the way when the hammer wanted to make contact with him. When it was done with his spinning around Sonic made his move and punched it with his left and right fist into a combo that ultimately let in him ramming him 10 time in a row. The creature received massive damage after Sonic was done, still it didn’t gave up the battle and charged at Sonic. Sonic stretched his arm toward him so the creature would receive more damage, but Sonic miscalculated because it jumped in the air and with his hammer and then smash his hammer hard on Sonic’s head. Sonic was dizzy when he received that hit but couldn’t recover because the dark guardian used Sonic’s dizziness to its advantage. Sonic tried to shield him from his attacks but little it did help.

It wasn’t looking good for the werehog since he was the one that took most of the hits. They’ve been fighting for 2 hours non-stop and it looked Sonic was going to lose. Sonic breathed heavily trying to stand on his two feet.

 

‘This time I’m going to win! Thahahahha’ the dark guardian spoke.

 

Sonic grinned at him. If he really thought he was winning he was wrong. Sonic had backed up his ace: his werehog unleash skill.

 

‘I’m going to sent you back to the depths from where you came!’ Sonic yelled at him.

 ‘AAAAAAAUUUUUUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO’ Sonic screamed that would make the villagers wet their pants if they would stand in front of Sonic while he would scream that. A blue aura surrounded him giving him power again. Sonic charged at the dark guardian that was ready for whatever Sonic had planning. Sonic stretched his arm toward him and he wanted to defend himself with his hammer but Sonic smashed it in halve. Without thinking Sonic started to crawl, punching, kicking him non-stop for 1 hour until the guardian wasn’t even moving, meaning Sonic has won the battle. The guardian was vaporizing into dust that went with the wind. Sonic noticed that more dust was going with the wind meaning all the others are gone too. He did it! He saved Spagonia.

Sonic went to the seal that reappeared and got out of it to meet up with Tails. Weakened he moved toward Tails.

 

‘Sonic! Are you alright?’ Tails called out while he got toward Sonic.

‘I’m …. I’m fine Tails….. It’s done….’ Sonic replied toward him.

‘You mean………?’ Tails asked thinking it’s finally over.

‘Yes… it’s over, it was dark guardian. He was …the one behind all this.’ Sonic manage to speak.

‘Congratulations Sonic. I knew you would succeed.’ Tails said cheering.

‘Yeah, I know… But now… I’m tired Tails. I had to… use everything I’ve got. I need to sleep.’ Sonic said in a weak voice.

‘Okay sure, let’s get back to the professor, don’t worry I’ll inform him.

‘Appreciated pall.’ Sonic finished.

 

Slowly they made their way back to the college. Meanwhile Sonic changed into his normal self again. Now the damage could be seen. Sonic was completely brushed up and some of his fist where bleeding because of the attacks he did to the dark guardian. After slowly waking back toward the college Sonic went straight to bed. Tails told the professor about the Dark Guardian and that he was the reason why Spagonia was in trouble. The professor was relieved knowing they succeeded and later both of them went to bed as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 5

 Amy spends the day before her birthday alone. She looked at the ribbon Tails and Sonic made to decorate her house. She went to her couch and took a seat. She feels so alone, normally she always knows to do something but today she couldn’t. Out of boredom she cleaned her house that’s clean enough that you can eat from the floor.

 

Now that Spagonia is save again it time for the two to finally go home again. Sonic is actually relieved this is over because strangely enough he wanted to be with Amy. Tails and him are standing in the hanger where Tails’ plane is stored. The professor was with them as well to take goodbye from them. Tails opened his plane as Sonic was giving the professor a handshake.

 

‘Thank you for helping Spagonia Sonic. Now that the servants of dark Gaia are gone we’ll be safe and sound again.’ The professor said.

‘You’re welcome, it’s a hero’s duty. I’m glad I could be of help.’ Sonic said giving his thumb up.

‘We were glad to help you professor. I hope we can keep in touch.’ Tails finished.

‘Have a safe trip guys. Good luck.’ The professor finished

 

Sonic and Tails gotten into his plane and fasten their seatbelts. They waved at the professor as Tails started to turn on the engine of his plane and got toward the airstrip. He build up speed until he got lift off. When he gained altitude he pressed a few buttons before he pushed in the automatic pilot and let the plane fly back to their own village. Finally after five days of being away, they are going back home. Sonic wasn’t sleeping but thinking about Amy. He had to tell her he loves her, needs her. It stings him so much she still doesn’t know even if he made once an attempt toward it. Tomorrow it had to be it, the day he will try to speak the feelings he has for her. He just had too and he will. Tails noticed Sonic was into deep thoughts.

 

‘Sonic?’ Tails tried to get Sonic’s attention.

‘Huh? Did you said something?’ Sonic asked Tails snapping out of the things that ran through his mind.

‘Except for your name no. Are you thinking about something?’ Tails asked wondering.

‘Yes, about Amy’s birthday.’ Sonic answered.

‘I see. Don’t worry about it, everything is going to be fine.’ Tails tried to reassure Sonic. It helped a bit.

‘I guess your right.’ Sonic finished.

 

 

*A long while later*

Amy went soon to her bed because she wanted to be up early for her birthday. She hasn’t heard from Sonic in a while. She is worried he won’t be at birthday party. It would ruin her dream.

 

‘Please Sonic, come to my birthday. I really really need you with me tomorrow.’ She was thinking before falling into sleep.

 

Finally Sonic and Tails arrived their own environment, as Tails said it was night when they would be back. He pressed a button that turned his own  street into a landing strip with the palm trees turning a side. Than he pressed the button to unload the wheels of his plane and lowered altitude until the plane made contact with the ground. He pushed on his brake to let the plane run out. When the plane lost its speed he pressed on a button that let him open his garage that could be called a hanger. He placed the plane back into it and turned off the engine of his plane. When he opened his cockpit door Sonic and himself got out.

 

‘Well that was it. We’re finally home.’ Tails said.

‘Indeed we are. I’m going home now, it’s late and I’m tired from the flight.’ Sonic replied

‘Sure thing. I’ll see you tomorrow at Amy’s house than.’ Tails responded.

‘Count on that.’ Sonic said back with a smile.

 

Sonic and Tails bro fist to each other and right after Sonic ran away to his house. While he ran to his home he quickly passed Amy’s house. It was a struggle for him not to stop and knock on her door to give her a giant hug and maybe sleep with her. No he shouldn’t do that, her light was out and he knew she was sleeping. He continued his road until he arrived at his very own house. He got out the key of his front door and placed it into the keyhole, turning on it unlocked and opened his door. He stepped in and closed it again.

 

‘Ah home sweet home.’ Sonic thought to himself while walking toward his bathroom to clean his teeth. After he was done he went to his bedroom and changed into his night suit. Pulling away the sheets of the bed gave him entrees into his bed. He pulled the sheets over him and placed his head on his pillow. He looked at his digital clock displaying 00:15am.

 

‘Today is the day….. Amy.’ He thought to himself and closed his eyes until his sleep took him to the world of dreams.
